IDXChannel - Minister of Investment/Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM), Bahlil Lahadalia said, Saudi Arabia expressed its interest in investing in Nusantara Capital City (IKN).
"Yesterday we spoke with the Minister of Investment, they are interested in joining the IKN project," Bahli said when met at The St. Regis Hotel, Jakarta, Tuesday (30/5/2023).
Unfortunately, Bahlil still cannot reveal the detailed information. This is because IKN is still in the development stage.
"In the first phase of IKN, property will be the main sector," said Bahlil.
Previously, Head of the Nusantara Capital City Authority Bambang Susantono said, until now there had been at least 220 more letters of intent (LOI).
So far, the government's approach has been well received by the business world.
Bambang hopes that PP No. 12 of 2023 concerning the ease of doing business can attract business actors to support development activities in Nusantara. (WHY)
