IDXChannel - Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto believes that 30 National Strategic Projects (PSN) with an investment value of Rp360 trillion can be realized in 2023.
"From the existing list, we are optimistic that this figure can be achieved," said Airlangga after a limited meeting related to increasing economic and tourism activities after the revocation of PPKM at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta, Monday (30/1/2023).
Airlangga explained that as many as 30 PSNs were, among others, the Coal Gasification project in Tanjung Enim, the Weda Bay industrial area, the Batang industrial area, the Kijing Terminal International Port, the Beringin SIla Dam, Sanur Port, and the Tebing Tinggi Railway.
The government, said Airlangga, will also continue to erode barriers (debottlenecking) for smooth investment flows such as facilitating licensing so that development continues. "Related to the spatial layout and approval of the building that is the bottleneck, it will be resolved with the revision of Government Regulation (PP) Number 5," he said.
The PP referred to by Airlangga is Government Regulation (PP) Number 5/2021 concerning the Implementation of Risk-Based Business Licensing.
In the meeting, President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) also asked his staff to encourage the operation of special economic zones, especially the tourism sector, to attract the number of foreign tourists and domestic tourists.
