IDXChannel - Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi and her Slovenian counterpart Tanja Fajon, have welcomed the upward trend of trade relations between the two countries.
"We can do more and my visit here today is showcasing that Indonesia stands ready to do more," said Retno during a joint press statement in Ljubljiana on Wednesday (26/6/2024).
According to Retno, one promising avenue is the utilization of the Port of Koper in Slovenia as an alternative gateway for Indonesia's exports to reach Central and Eastern European markets.
"I also wish to invite Slovenian business leaders to join us at the 2nd Indonesia-Europe Business Forum (IEBF) and explore opportunities at the Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) in October this year," she said.
On investment, the figure in 2023 reached more than USD2 million. Indonesia expects this figure to rise by the end of this year.
