IDXChannel – The Ministry of Finance ensures that the state budget will remain a shock absorber amidst various dynamics, including the tightening of global financial liquidity as marked by The Federal Reserve’s decision to raise interest rates.
The Ministry ensures that global conditioning that occur are continuously monitored and translated into domestic policies. Therefore, the Ministry of Finance asks all parties to remain vigilant about the dynamics that are occurring but must remain optimistic due to the ongoing economic recovery.
“The US raised interest rates several times, maybe there will be several more times, therefore we continue to pay attention to what was conveyed by the Board of Governors of The Federal Reserve and of course we will translate this into the country. When we translate this into the country, of course we see areas that we must be aware of,” he said.
