IDXChannel - The House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia (DPR RI) today passed Regulation in Lieu of Law (Perppu) Number 2 of 2022 concerning Job Creation into Law.
The passing of the law was carried out during a plenary session on Tuesday (21/3/2023).
"In this regard, can the Bill regarding Perppu Number 2 of 2022 on Job Creation be approved?" asked the Speaker of the DPR RI Puan Maharani.
"Agreed," the parliament members answered.
Even though it had been approved, there were two factions that expressed their opposition against the Perppu.
The two parties were the Democratif Party and the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) Faction. Moreover, the PKS faction conducted a walkout during the plenary session.
