PT Angkasa Pura (AP) II (Persero) ensures the readiness of Sisingamangaraja XII Airport, North Tapanuli to support the international event.
AP II President Director Muhammad Awaluddin said there are several important airports to support the event, namely Sisingamangaraja XII Airport (North Tapanuli) which is located about 30 minutes from the F1 Powerboat venue and supporting airports, namely Kualanamu Airport (Deli Serdang, Sumut), Soekarno-Hatta Airport (Banten), and Halim Perdanakusuma Airport (Jakarta).
Awaluddin explained, the existence of Sisingamangaraja XII Airport from the beginning was to support Lake Toba as a Super Priority Tourism Destination.
"AP II has carried out continuous development at Sisingamangaraja XII Airport. This airport has been prepared to welcome international events such as F1 Powerboat," awaluddin said.
