IDXChannel – The Coordinating Minister of Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan claims that almost all of Indonesia’s economic condition show positive growth.
He then invited a group of people who are still debating this positive economic growth. Although in terms of conditions, Luhut does not deny that the global situation is still not free from various problems, one of which is the result of the Ukraine-Russia geopolitical conflict.
Referring to existing data, he said Indonesia’s economic growth in the third quarter of 2022 was still maintained at around 5,7 percent. He is also optimistic that national economy will still be in range of 5 percent by the end of the year.
“The war in Ukraine is still a problem that is still bothering us, then the global situation is still bothering us, I don't think this is over. But if we look at the conditions that have not been good this year, Indonesia's macro-economy is still good. All that says is data,” Luhut said.
So let's not argue without data. So if there are observers who talk to you about the state debt, just look at the data, just show them the data. Don't lie to the people. We may like it or not, but that's how it is. Our economic growth is still good, in the third quarter it was still 5.7 percent.”
