IDXChannel - Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning Minister and National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) Head Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) socialized the benefits of land as business capital to improve the welfare of Central Java's residents.
"Land certificates are used for business capital. Do not use it for anything wrong," the minister told the residents of Wonorejo Village in Semarang District, Central Java, on Saturday.
He recommends that residents looking to pledge land certificates utilize the funds obtained as business capital rather than for purchasing things.
"If it is used as business capital, it can generate profit," AHY emphasized.
On that occasion, the agency head also reminded residents against lending or giving their land certificates to irresponsible and unauthorized parties.
According to AHY, land certificates are valuable assets and should be protected.
