IDXChannel – The Coordinating Minister for Politics Law and Security Mahfud MD stated that security and political stability is a requirement in pursuing economic targets.
Mahfud explained that in 2030 Indonesia will try to move up from a middle to high income country. Furthermore in 2045 it is also stated that Indonesia is projected to become one of the five world economic powers.
He also touched on the security and political stability in the new order era led by the 2nd President Soeharto. Referring to this experience Mahfud emphasized that politics and security are the guardian of all.
“In 2030 it is stated that we will strive to move from a middle-income country to a high-income country. Then, in 2045 it is also called where Indonesia is projected to become 1 of 5 world economic powers. Well, based on this, it requires escort or guarantees of political stability and law enforcement, that's absolute,” he said.
